Amos is a Principal ICT Officer in the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance. He is an experienced IT professional with 15 years of experience managing projects integrating ICT into government operations. He is passionate about utilising IT tools to generate and manage data that can guide and inform policy decisions. Amos has also contributed to the development of ICT policies and laws in Uganda, most notably the Cyber Acts and the Personal Data Protection and Privacy Act.
In his current role, he is managing the development of a five-year digital transformation roadmap for Uganda. The roadmap focuses on utilising digital tools and the data generated within as a catalyst for the country’s economic transformation.
