Marten has a long track record as a community and innovation builder throughout various organisations and projects. As the former National Digital Adviser for Estonia, he was responsible for digital and innovation in Estonia, driving resilient change toward more adaptive governance through technical, cultural and other crucial components. He is the initiator of the Estonian AI policy, law and practice which is in the bleeding edge of governance. He is also the Co-Founder at GovStack, a global initiative to build open-source and re-usable building blocks for digital governance. Currently working as an independent consultant and helping organisations with their digital transformation.
