Anna Sarri is a Cybersecurity Officer in the Capacity Building Unit of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). Her main focus is evolving around developing capabilities to support EU Member States in the development, implementation and evaluation of National Cyber Security Strategies. She promotes capacity-building activities and empowers communities through sharing of best cybersecurity practices, raising awareness on several topics such as Cybersecurity for Small and Medium Size Businesses (SMEs) and promoting diversity in all cybersecurity activities. She supports the European Commission and the EU Member States regarding the implementation of the Network and Information Security Directives. In the past she worked for more than ten years in the telecom sector holding several positions, such as IT Security engineer, service provisioning officer and technical support team leader. Among others, she holds a B.Sc. in Computing, a M.Sc. in Information Security and Computer Crime from the University of South Wales in UK and a certificate on Managing Cybersecurity Risk from the University of Harvard.
