The e-Governance Conference 2023 is a hybrid conference with digital content, live discussions, practical workshops, and on-the-spot networking possibilities.
The event will take place at the Creative Hub, one of the most imaginative event spaces in Northern Europe. The industrial interior of the complex, inspired by the legendary filmmaker Andrei Tarkovski, wowed Germany’s former Chancellor Angela Merkel, and has fascinated thousands of conference goers.
We will inform and inspire, share ideas, and foster high-value connections within the e-governance community. Last year, 900 people attended the conference, 327 on-site in Tallinn, and about 600 people online.
When arriving to Estonia, all participants must present a valid passport with the appropriate visa (if required). It is not possible to apply for a visa at the border. Participants who need to apply for a visa must do so in their country of residence. Estonia is part of the Schengen Area.
Please note that visa invitation letters will be issued only to confirmed on-site participants who registered and already have paid the conference fee.
In case of an issue with travel documents or other travel-related questions, you can seek help from the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Delegates arriving/departing individually are kindly requested to make their own travel arrangements. Upon arrival at the Tallinn Lennart Meri airport, we recommend you to take a taxi from the taxi stand in front of the airport. Taxi from the airport to the hotel takes about 10 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs around 10 €. Taxis accept Visa / Mastercard. ATMs are located in the airport terminal building.
Bus and tram stops, car parks and taxi stand are only meters away from Airport entrances. https://www.tallinn-airport.ee/en/transport/leaving-the-airport/
Your conference badge is valid as a free public transportation pass and can be used within Tallinn public transportation network during the conference. In order to use this opportunity, please carry the badge with you as you need to validate the ticket each time you use public transportation:
How to validate your transport ticket: scan the transportation QR code at the bottom of the rectangular orange validator located at the front door of the public transport vehicle.
Parking info and fees can be found here, public transport timetables and maps are available here.
NB! Please note that there are roadworks taking place in Tallinn and near the venue so arrival might take slightly longer than usual.
The conference will be held in ENGLISH, no translation available.
Guided tours for all those who registered begin from Viru hotel lobby at 13:30 for Group 1 and 18:00 for Group 2
The conference features two exposition areas, the first on site at the Creative Hub, and the second in the online environment, where companies and organisations have presentation spaces, organise interactive discussions with attendees, introduce fresh tech solutions for governments, and generate business leads.
